With a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Mount Holyoke College and New York University, I spent time working at SEVENTEEN Magazine then onto Seventh Avenue with Evan Picone Sportswear.
After moving to Manhasset, NY with a growing family of two boys, I wanted to switch directions. I took a job with friend Jeff Lincoln of Lincoln Interiors in Locust Valley. From that moment on, I knew I was hooked on interior design, which led to starting my own design business.
I am part designer, part stager, part consultant. I welcome projects that blend old and new. "Mixing" is at the heart of all my designs. I love incorporating my clients' past furnishings with the present to create interiors that are classic, coastal and comfortable.
Living in Florida, tropical elements are a big part of my design aesthetic. My love of bamboo and rattan, blue and white, and natural elements from the sea and sky also add to my design style.
I focus on comfort with resort-like luxury. Everything I choose is specifically curated for each project. I have experience designing and managing a myriad of projects from single room updates to building from the ground up.
Whether you need a simple tweak, help with a renovation, or a brand new build, Kary Clancy Interiors is happy to lead your design journey.
